1. General Information

This Privacy Policy describes the principles for processing personal data and using cookies by the MYWL web service and application (mywlapp.com), operated by:

2. What data do we collect?

When using the application and the website, we may process the following data:

• email address (during account registration),
• training data voluntarily entered by the user, such as: training performance, fatigue level, body weight,
• data entered via the contact form (e.g. name, email),
• data about website traffic (e.g. IP address, browser type) automatically collected by Google Analytics.

3. Sensitive data

While using the application, the user may voluntarily enter data that may be considered health-related (e.g. fatigue level, body weight, training performance).
We process this data only based on voluntary consent given during account registration and solely to provide app functionalities (e.g. tracking training progress).

4. Purposes of data processing

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• enabling account registration and user account management,
• providing application features (monitoring training and progress),
• communication with the user (replying to inquiries, system notifications),
• sending newsletters and marketing communication,
• ensuring the security and functioning of the service,
• generating statistics and analytics (based on Google Analytics).

5. Newsletter and email communication

Each user who creates an account is automatically subscribed to the newsletter. However, users may unsubscribe from marketing and informational emails at any time by changing their account settings or clicking the unsubscribe link in the email.

6. Legal basis for processing

We process personal data in accordance with Article 6(1) of the GDPR, namely:

• (b) – to perform a contract (e.g. account creation),
• (a) – based on consent (e.g. newsletter subscription),
• (f) – for the legitimate interests of the controller (e.g. analytics, improving the service, own marketing).

7. Data sharing

Data may be shared with:

• IT and hosting service providers, such as home.pl,
• analytics providers, such as Google LLC (Google Analytics),
• email marketing service providers (in the future – e.g. MailerLite, Mailchimp),
• public authorities, if required by applicable law.

Data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), unless to entities ensuring an adequate level of protection (e.g. under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).

8. Data retention period

Personal data is retained for the following periods:

• for as long as the user account exists,
• until the user withdraws consent to the newsletter or objects to processing,
• for the period required by applicable law (e.g. accounting, archiving).

If the user deletes their account, all personal and training data will be permanently deleted from our system within 14 days, unless there is another legal basis for their continued retention.

9. User rights

Every data subject has the right to:

• access their data,
• rectify, delete, or restrict the processing of their data,
• transfer their data,
• object to the processing of their data,
• withdraw consent at any time,
• lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland).

Upon request, personal and training data can be exported in a structured format (e.g. .csv or similar) for the purpose of data portability.

10. Cookies and analytics

The website uses cookies for the purposes of:

• proper functioning of the service,
• analytics (Google Analytics),
• functional and marketing purposes (in the future).

Upon the first visit, users are informed about the use of cookies and have the option to give consent to their use.

11. Changes to the privacy policy

This privacy policy may be updated periodically. The current version will always be available at: mywlapp.com/privacy-policy.
Users will be informed about significant changes via email or through the application.
